[Seminar] HTML5 vs Native Apps – in Bilbao

The HTML5Apps project and the  W3C Office in Spain is glad to invite the developer community to attend a HTML5-based Web applications seminar, to be held on 6 May 2014, from 9 to 12am, in Bilbao, Spain.

This event entitled “HTML5 Vs. Native Apps” gathers international Web standard experts who will interact with the audience:

  • Dominique Hazaël-Massieux (W3C Mobile Web Initiative Activity Lead) and Charles McCathie Nevile (Yandex) will explain the benefits of the new standards for the development of mobile Web applications based on the Open Web Platform (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.);
  • Enrique Quintano (Bitoon), a representative of the HTML5 community in Spain, will talk about his real-world experience with HTML5;
  • Francisco Javier Almeida will explain how they have created Wimi5, an appealing platform to develop games in HTML5;
  • Last but not least, Txus Ordorika (Ludei) will present their international experience around standards and HTML5.

This event is also co-organized by CTIC and framed within the Sherpa Summit.
